 As a Sales Development Representative, you will perform various activities to strengthen sales efforts, including qualifying inbound leads, prospecting for new clients, warm and cold calling, generating referrals and scheduling sales presentations to be delivered by the Enterprise Sales Consultants. The New Business Representative works collaboratively with Enterprise Sales Consultants to lead new business opportunities within targeted verticals and specific companies. Their primary goal is to maximize quality new business opportunities for, and schedule webinars with, the Enterprise Sales Consultants on their team.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Promote Ambassador, educate marketers within your designated vertical, and identify potential sales opportunities using an established prospecting process that includes targeted warm and cold calling, emails, and social outreach.
  • Ensure high quality and effective messaging around Ambassador's solutions that creates awareness and gains the interest of potential clients. This requires building a functional understanding of Ambassador products and services and the value provided.
  • Qualify prospective clients and schedule demo's for Enterprise Sales Consultants.
  • Research, evaluate, and develop prospective client leads from multiple sources including, but not limited to, current sales database contacts, inbound inquiries, and web or other research channels.
  • Efficiently and accurately use Salesforce, Datanyze, HubSpot, Linkedin, Join.me, RingCentral, and a host of other business applications to record and manage all activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in a B2B inside sales environment.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Offie suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience using CRM system, Salesforce preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales life cycle to assist in coordinating sales functions including prospecting and leads research.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.

Preffered

  • Experience in supporting or coordinating prospective client and/or sales events.
  • Experience in the software as a service (SaaS) or internet technology industry.
