Ways you'll be kept busy:
- Maintaining and updating job postings on HomeAdvisor Careers, as well as outside posting sites, and maintain updated login information for all posting sites;
- Maintaining candidate information and resumes in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
- Greeting candidates and guests at the Front Desk, ensuring they are properly checked in, and notifying the appropriate person of their arrival;
- Arranging candidate travel for non-local candidate interviews, and managing check requests for reimbursement for candidates;
- Running background checks and ensuring they're properly signed off per company policy;
- Coordinating, sending, and approving new hire paperwork;
- Ensuring relocating new hires are set up with our relocation service;
- Researching, registering for, and preparing for recruiting events, like university events, job fairs, on-site career events;
- Conducting research projects in support of recruiting needs;
- Working with cross-functional business groups to assist with mailings, ordering printed materials, and other administrative tasks;
- General assistance and administrative duties as required.
The experience and personality we seek:
- 1-3 years of general office experience, preferably in an administrative, coordination, or project management capacity
- A strong desire to pursue a career in Recruiting and/or Human Resources
- Ability to keep a secret - You'll be dealing with confidential information such as offer letters, compensation data, and candidate information, and we expect you to maintain that confidentiality with a high degree of integrity and judgment
- Enthusiastic and energetic and friendly - We're a loud, fun, fast-moving team, and anything less than a can-do attitude will not suffice
- Flexible - No two days will be the same, so the ability to go with the flow is a must
- Organized - It’s imperative that no balls are dropped and nothing falls through the cracks. You must be an expert juggler and crack filler.
- Computer proficient - You need to know Word, basic Excel, and PowerPoint inside and out, and have extensive experience with a variety of email and web-based applications. Past experience with Outlook and/or an ATS will earn you bonus points.
