What you'll do:Billtrust is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Team Lead to guide our Agile team to release quality deliverables for our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Vuebill platform. Reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager you will be serve as a hands-on contributor and a Team Lead as we accelerate our Agile processes, build test automation, and develop Continuous Integration (CI). You will collaborate with dev, product and other cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality products.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers within a SCRUM environment to deliver high-quality releases
- Develop automated tests using Selenium Webdriver (C#), nUnit, SQL, and other scripts
- Evolve and improve processes around test case strategy, test case execution and automated regression
- Provides direction and hands-on support for the development, modification and execution of software test plans
- Perform web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, black box, load, performance and end-to-end testing
- Write and/or modify SQL queries to perform database validations
- Build and refine our automated regression efforts
- Foster Agile adoption and help drive teams towards Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Strong ability to plan, create and execute test plans and test cases in a fast-paced product-oriented environment - 7+ years of relevant experience ideal
- Demonstrated ability to leverage scripting and/or programming languages for test automation and verification, with a strong preference on C# and Selenium Webdriver
- Strong ability to drive processes for an improved automated regression suite
- Firm understanding of quality engineering practices, philosophies and techniques
- Experience with test case management tools, such as JIRA and Zephyr
- Understanding of Agile/SCRUM techniques
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) preferred
- Ability to guide load and/or performance testing
- Understanding of RDBMS, such as SQL Server, along with the ability to create and executive SQL queries
- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or similar (or equivalent experience)
