WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll work alongside our Software Support Team to test, recreate, prioritize and document bugs across a variety of products (web and mobile). Exceptional product support is one of our key differentiators, and you’ll play a huge part in making the bug resolution process as efficient and painless as possible for both the Support Team and Development Team.

WHAT WE’LL ACHIEVE
    • We’ll efficiently fix the highest priority bugs thanks to your pragmatic approach to QC.
    • The Development Team will sing your praises for your clear communication and accuracy in identifying the root cause and severity of any bugs that arise.
    • Our Support Team will continue to improve on their technical troubleshooting abilities thanks to the insights and systematic testing practices you help to establish.
    • The Development Team will be able to focus on what’s important because of your diligence in escalating real bugs that you have been able to successfully reproduce and document.
    • The Support and Customer Success Teams will breathe a little easier when you relay back the status updates and resolution of any problems.
WHO YOU ARE
    • You have 3-5 years of experience in web and mobile application QC, putting together test plans, communicating status updates across teams, testing bug fixes and logging issues appropriately.
    • You have experience developing and executing application test cases, such as load/stress testing, functional tests and UI specific tests.You can run basic SQL queries via the database to support severity of bug instances.
    • You have working knowledge of RESTful API’s and have used tools to validate accuracy from GET/POST/PUT requests.
    • You have experience reading, formatting and sometimes editing JSON.
    • You geek out over application development and might even have basic software engineering experience.
    • You’re a pro at prioritizing and handling a large number of requests and will take the initiative to keep projects moving.
    • You have some experience with industry standard Unit testing experience such as NUnit would be beneficial.
    • Bonus points for Crashlytics experience, as well as automated testing tools: Selenium, QTP testing tools and/or IBM Rational testing tools.
    • You have completed an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
    • You appreciate and align with our company values.
