Lead the team to develop test designs, using requirement, architecture, data modeling, design, and Use Case artifacts as input, and embracing industry design techniques, to produce the most efficient and risk adverse outcomes.

Fundamental Components:

Leads, or acts as technical or business contributor, to support the test design process and deliverables, using requirement, architecture, data modeling, design, and Use Case artifacts as input.

Experience with consumer journey or understanding of concepts related to customer experience

Leads or acts as technical contributor to support translation of architectural and design changes to impacted areas.

Leads or acts as a business contributor to support the translation of business requirements to impacted areas.

Demonstrates understanding of the environment and infrastructure configuration in developing or reviewing the test design.

Interprets and provides issues or concerns with design or infrastructure changes to applications and the downstream impacts.

Provides risk and opportunity assessments on a project/program level, including end to end impact of changes.

Identifies automation and process improvement opportunities and implements on future project/release testing.

Identifies the need, and evaluates and implements tools that support the testing process.

Recommends and implements new testing practices and procedures that are consistent with industry standards and practices.

Provides technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing test tools that assist in meeting strategic objectives.

Keeps abreast of technical changes and advancements in the testing field.

Coordinates/Manages the testing and implementation within a given area or across multiple areas.

Oversees or performs complex testing, according to detailed plans to ensure high-quality systems.

Reviews project estimates for knowledgeable areas and provide oversight for program level efforts utilizing the QA estimate template and maintains those estimates using the proper QA tools.

May be responsible for defining, developing, maintaining, executing and validating test architecture and scripts.

Responsible for escalating project and release items (issues, concerns, defects) to the Release Manager and for communicating own issues, developing options to mitigate negative impacts to release schedule; assists the QA Sr. Manager/QA Sr. PM in understanding impacts of issues in other areas or own area of testing.

Proactively escalates issues, problems, status to management

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

6+ years software project life cycle experience with concentration in quality assurance.

6+ years experience in technology support or application program development.

Experience within the testing life cycle.

Experience coordinating/managing the application testing process.

Experience working in an environment with a matrixed staff with ability to leverage non-directs to complete tasks.

Knowledge and experience with end to end testing

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
