As a small startup team we are looking to add an individual who can fill two different areas of need. We are looking to add an awesome quality assurance engineer to our development team. You will test novel cloud-based mobile applications and touch the full stack across web, mobile and server technologies. We are looking for someone as quality obsessed as we are that wants to help contribute in our next phase of product development and customer growth as we enter the enterprise market internationally. Our team takes ideas from planning and development to deployment quickly and you will get to be involved in all phases of testing and product acceptance. We are looking for a passionate QA engineer that has experience in mobile apps that communicate with a RESTful server backend. We also want someone who can help support the growing IT needs of the entire company. This includes desktop (Mac) support, account administration across several cloud based tools, new device (mobile and laptop) provisioning and maintaining the office network. This role is the very definition of “wearing many hats” and we want someone who can embrace this challenge and make the role their own.

Core Qualifications (we expect you to have most of them!)

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) experience
• Passionate about mobile platforms, devices, and apps
• Experience testing across multiple browsers and multiple mobile OS
• Experience triaging issues on mobile devices including device configuration and log file investigation
• Previous admin experience including account management, device provisioning, Mac troubleshooting and office network management
• Ability to utilize system data (SQL, server logs) as a debugging tool
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative Agile environment where features are complete, tested, and released to users on a biweekly basis
• Ability and willingness to adapt and respond to organization needs
• Strong self direction and ability to manage time effectively to meet commitments, as well as raise issues before they become problems
• Eager to give and receive honest communication to all levels of stakeholders from peer engineers to the CEO
• Passion for working at a startup and helping us come up with the next great idea
• Prior startup/small team experience

• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with source code management tools
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Familiarity with using MongoDB as a debugging tool
• Understanding of web oriented architecture, RESTful services, and JSON
• Familiarity with deploying scalable cloud computing environments and basic hosting operations
