We are looking to add an awesome QA Engineer to our development team. You will test novel cloud-based mobile applications and touch the full stack across web, mobile and server technologies. We are looking for a quality obsessed QA engineer that wants to help contribute in our next phase of product development and customer growth as we enter the enterprise market internationally. 

Our team takes ideas from planning and development to deployment quickly and you will get to be involved in all phases of testing and product acceptance. You will get to be involved testing the “bajeebers” out of the app so our customers have an amazing experience that makes them want to recommend MobileDay to their friends. We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer that has experience in mobile apps that communicate with a RESTful server backend.

There actually isn’t any dialing at all. No 1-800 numbers, no PIN codes, no hitting #. Just a big green button that syncs with your calendar and launches you into any conference or international call. MobileDay Advantage automatically connects employees to conference calls using the least expensive phone number based on the company’s rules.

 

Core Qualifications (We expect you to have most of them!)

  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) experience
  • Passionate about mobile platforms, devices, and apps
  • Experience testing across multiple browsers and multiple mobile OS- familiarity with iphone or android, and willingness to work equal time with both
  • Experience triaging issues on mobile devices including device configuration and log file investigation
  • Ability to utilize system data (SQL, server logs) as a debugging tool
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative Agile environment where features are complete, tested, and released to users on a biweekly basis
  • Strong self direction and ability to manage time effectively to meet commitments, as well as raise issues before they become problems
  • Eager to give and receive honest communication to all levels of stakeholders from peer engineers to the CEO
  • Passion for working at a startup and helping us come up with the next great idea
  • Prior startup/small team experience

Additional Qualifications  (Our wish list so you can hit the ground running even faster!)

  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Experience with source code management tools
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Familiarity with using MongoDB as a debugging tool
  • Understanding of web oriented architecture, RESTful services, and JSON
  • Familiarity with deploying scalable cloud computing environments and basic hosting operations
