About you
We’re seeking an Agile-focused Project Manager to play a key role in supporting the development of new features for the Notion product line. The ideal candidate will have a background in scrum, Agile, product development, and project management. We’re looking for a strong communicator, a builder, and a self-motivated problem solver.
Responsibilities:
Help cultivate an Agile development environment
Categorize and maintain project goals set forth by the leadership team
Manage overall project organization and tools to ensure requirements and deliverables are clearly communicated
Manage and communicate project priorities, risks, issues, and dependencies with stakeholders across the team
Collaborate with development teams to document opportunities and limitations of solutions
Track development velocity and sprint progress
Coordinate resources for each assigned project to ensure the project stays on schedule and within scope
Work closely with the CTO to clarify requirements and maintain the status and details of each project - including but not limited to scope deviations, cost changes, and resources constraints
Anticipate any potential pitfalls with each project through quick responses and proactive critical thinking
Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities to determine solutions and options to resolve problems
Synchronize development efforts between mobile app development, hardware development, server software development and data science projects
Requirements:
Minimum of five years’ experience managing web-based or mobile projects in a technical environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical, organized, and well-documented
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
An unabashed willingness to get things done
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
An interest in startups and the Internet of Things
Experience with tools like Pivotal Tracker, Rally, or similar
