As a member of the Customer Success team, the Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of one or more projects and/or process improvement initiatives. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that projects are on schedule, within determined budget and meets Tendril's quality objectives / acceptance criteria. Responsibilities include managing the full project life cycle, including initiation, planning, executing, monitoring / controlling, and closing. 

What You Will Do:

• Manage small-medium-large cross-functional projects, providing overall leadership and direction, managing budget, maintaining schedule, managing project resource availability, and monitoring deliverables to ensure that they meet acceptance criteria.
• Develop project plans, track progress, and deliver to project commitments.
• Financial responsibilities include working closely with Finance on project cost estimating, managing project financials including earned value methodologies, and managing and mitigating variances.
• Identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risk and issues. 
• Provide internal and external project reports and documentation.
• Follow a complete quality process, including monitoring quality of completed work, taking corrective action, and a post-implementation review and lessons learned.
• Cultivate relationship with stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure overall satisfaction and help develop business partnerships across the organization.
• Focal point for managing Tendril products (HW and SW) through the documented Product Life Cycle (PLC) process, from ideation through end-of-life.
• Facilitate and lead the development, documentation and implementations of critical cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

What You Bring to Tendril:

• 10+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience in leading / facilitating cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Experienced in software and hardware project management and product management
• Negotiation and conflict resolution
• Strong problem-solving and process development skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understands the relationship and dependencies between cross-functional groups including Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Operations and Customer Engagement Services. Ideal candidate has work experience in 2 or more of these disciplines.
• BA/BS degree in business or engineering
• PMP certification preferred

Bonus Points:

• Strong experience and knowledge in process development initiatives, including value stream mapping
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite a plus

Our Boulder office has plenty of nearby restaurants, bars and hotels for our visiting employees, as well as in office employees to enjoy. We have on-site parking, and when you enjoy a walk near the office - you can take in the views of the Beautiful Boulder FlatIron Mountains nearby - Enjoy!
