We are currently searching for a Project Development Associate at our Denver, CO corporate headquarters to support key strategic growth initiatives for the Quilting category.  This role is responsible for leading a critical business function within the eCommerce division, through the successful development, execution and communication of pattern and project kit development with vendor partners and independent designers.   
 
As a Project Development Associate you will:
  • Act as the technical expert for Craftsy for the quilting category
  • Partner with the Buying/Merchandising team to develop a quarterly pattern/project kit strategy to meet or exceed financial goals for the category
  • Lead pattern sourcing, development and contracting with core vendors and independent designers in accordance to strategy
  • Evaluate quilting patterns for technical accuracy and alignment with high quality brand positioning in regard to photography and copy execution
  • Accurately assign meta data attributes (skill level, technique, etc.) to patterns/project kits to ensure data integrity
  • Recap pattern/project performance and propose changes to strategy based on identified challenges and opportunities in performance
  • Respond to and support customer service inquiries for the quilting category
  • Resolve any pattern issues directly with the pattern designer 
Your background will likely include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
  • Preference given to candidates with 10+ years of experience
  • Clear understanding of all technical facets in quilting
  • Relationship development and extensive networking with pattern designers in the quilting community
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines
  • Clear and effective written, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated strengths in successful contract negotiations
  • Proven analytical skills and enthusiasm for incorporating data-driven decision making in a creative process
 
This is a FLSA non-exempt (hourly) position.
