We are seeking dedicated, high caliber professionals who are smart and energetic, have a positive attitude and take pride in their work.  Currently, we have an opening for a Production Analyst.  The Production Analyst position is a predictive analytics role within a team that builds statistical models and presentation materials for the company’s large client base.  This position will be responsible for:  analyzing customer behavior data; quality control and development of machine learning models; providing guidance and presentation materials to our Client Services team. Tasks and responsibilities of the Production Analyst position include:

 

1. Consult regularly with Client Services regarding our clients’ consumer data, modeling options, production timelines and performance.  This is done with the goal of providing high quality predictive scorings, reporting and recommendations for our clients.
2. Build point-in-time response models and profile models using proprietary modeling systems as well as commercial statistical software.
3. Assess client-specific transaction data, customer profiles and past/present model results to develop filtering criteria and model recommendations to be leveraged by clients for targeted prospecting into the Wiland database.
4. Develop semi-customized model summaries to convey model details and expected results to Client Services and clients for use in their digital marketing and circulation planning.
5. Build multi-model solutions to deliver larger ranked universes to clients with more niche marketing offers or other challenging constraints.

 

 

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.). Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid quantitative and analytical aptitude and the ability to apply those concepts in a business setting; identifying relevant business questions and conceptualizing quantitative solutions (key measures, reporting, analysis, etc.).
• Experience using predictive modeling methods (regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Experience with SQL, R, Alteryx or other data manipulation and statistical analysis platforms is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
