We are seeking dedicated, high caliber professionals who are smart and energetic, have a positive attitude and take pride in their work.  Currently, we have an opening for a Production Analyst.  The Production Analyst is responsible for processing models through proprietary modeling systems and providing quality control.  Additionally, this position will interact regularly with our Client Services team regarding specifics about our clients, model inputs and results with the goal of providing top quality output for these clients.

 

Tasks and responsibilities of the Production Analyst position include:

 

  1. Assess client-specific model results and develop filtering criteria to be leveraged by clients for prospecting into the Wiland database.
  2. Develop semi-customized model summaries to convey model details and expected results to Client Services and clients for use in their circulation planning.
  3. Assist in the evaluation of techniques including proprietary algorithms in the context of prospect and customer models.
  4. Review and perform quality checks on existing data sources.  Assist in leveraging existing data sources to their fullest potential for use within models and targeting decisions.  This includes the generation of new information as well as the creation of models to be used as inputs in other processes.
  5. Assist in the design, development and enhancement of processes to make the analytical environment more automated and robust. 
  6. Present analytical research and results internally to the Analysis Team, Client Services and Senior Management as needed.  

 

 

 

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.).  Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid quantitative and analytical aptitude and the ability to apply those concepts in a business setting; identifying relevant business questions and conceptualizing quantitative solutions (key measures, reporting, analysis, etc.).
  • Exposure to predictive modeling methods (regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, etc.) a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
