Responsibilities:

  •  Work in tandem with the stakeholders to conceive, plan and prioritize product roadmap.
  • Plan ahead maintain a backlog of features – you must also adapt quickly as new conditions arise.
  • Measure the success of product offerings and utilize that feedback drive future enhancements.
  • This is a hands-on role. You will work with business stakeholders and consumers to conceptualize requirements and you will drive the requirements process
  • You will work directly with engineers and participate in the entire product development life-cycle – from conception, to design, build, QA, and release.
  • Startup Environment: We all hustle at times, to improvise when necessary, be creative and to deliver under tight (at times) timelines. You will deliver in an Agile, iterative manner. And we all have fun doing it!
  • This is a collaborative role. You will spend time reviewing, critiquing, supporting, and lending feedback to others and their work. Other team members will return the favor when it comes to you and your work – duly considering and incorporating this feedback is essential to your responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in a Product Owner role
  • Demonstrated ability developing and executing requirements for technically complex feature sets
  • Prior experience as a Product Owner for public APIs is highly desired
  • Strong understanding of data and APIs
  • Must be self-motivated, client experience oriented and a strong team player
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to define ideas down to a specification level
  • Solid leadership and collaboration skills required.
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to plan, manage, and execute on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines in a collaborative, Agile environment.
  • Must be able to drive project, debate merits of approach and work effectively with others.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, especially interpersonal, verbal, and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to define key success metrics for projects, incorporating measurable business objectives, revenue optimization and client experience best practices.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile, iterative manner is strongly desired.
