Guild’s education benefits software platform makes offering education as a benefit an easy choice for F1000 companies, with products and features that helps HR leaders turn their education cost centers into a positive ROI. Meanwhile, Guild’s network of online, nonprofit universities and learning providers offer a consortium of classes, programs, and college degrees, along with college advising and retention coaching, helping each student navigate the worlds of work and college.

Guild is looking for a Product Manager, Student Experience to join our technology team and lead Guild’s education focused technology efforts. You’ll work with Stafford, Britt, Morgan, and others to find the right mix of design, technology and human connections to develop education products and support our students and coaches across their education experience with Guild.

This role is great for you if are excited about building digital experiences which connect students, educators and coaches, changing the landscape for how we deliver education products to learners across the country.

As a Product Manager at Guild you will:

  • Own product strategy and roadmapping for all education experience pieces of our student journey with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, client partnership leads and customer support.
  • Lead ideation, exploration, development and delivery of student and coach/instructor native applications to drive stickiness and retention across classes.
  • Leverage analytics and user research to identify, scope and build new systems as well as iterate on existing features that improve the quality of the student and employer experience.
  • Drive weekly prioritization and planning for your team to ensure that the right features are being built at the right time for the right reasons.
  • Drive flawless execution against the plan, anticipating blockers, risks, and the need for clear communication internally and externally with our business partners and student.

We’ll prioritize the following experience and attributes as we evaluate candidates throughout the hiring process:

  • Experience managing products for enterprise or consumer products in an agile environment.
  • Great track record of partnering with engineering and design teams to define, build, and maintain products.
  • General startup skills and excitement aka you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, always changing, never dull environment.
  • Experience with A/B or multivariate testing, funnel analysis or other quantitative experience optimization
  • Technical skills, including but not limited to data analysis skills (SQL, R, Python, etc)
