Summary

DigitalGlobe GBDX platform is looking for an experienced Product Manager to guide the design, development, and support of features on our Core Content team. This team is building and supporting the heart of our platform, which lives in AWS. This is a rather technical PM role serving many internal stakeholders, with the ability to influence and coordinate with external ones.

Responsibilities

• Define your features. Write specs and user stories, create a plan, test plans, release checklists. Communicate functionality and incorporate feedback. Rinse and repeat.
• Prioritize your and your team’s work. Manage the backlog of features.
• Manage the daily workflow with a team of engineers and dev-ops. Do whatever your team needs to help them keep moving.
• Create and maintain your team’s roadmap and milestones. Work with your team to estimate, implement, and build features while ensuring that you’re working on the highest priority things you can be.
• Represent your team in communication with product, engineering, and marketing leadership.
• Ensure we ship well-crafted product at a timely pace.
• Work with external stake holders to guarantee participation and deliver mission critical information for a long lasting partnership.
• Must be able to form and communicate a VISION!

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of product management experience on a SaaS / enterprise product.
• BS/MBA/MS etc. are optional but definitely a huge plus.
• Previous experience shipping and iterating on successful cloud based products.
• Recent startup experience a big plus.
• Ability to work independently, communicating across multiple time zones.
