Job Description

Cloud Elements is a cloud application developer and integrator based in Denver, CO.  Our customers are leading SaaS providers such as Hubspot, Zendesk and Kissmetrics and we've partnered with Salesforce, Box, Marketo, Google and others.  We're hoping you will help us grow that list!

We are seeking A Product Analyst to join our Product Management team!  The Product Management team is focused on driving new innovations and and extending the Cloud Elements products.  A BA at Cloud Elements will focus on our "Elements" and "Hubs" that make up the core customer facing product.  The ultimate goal is to provide new and existing customers with an exceptional experience with the most innovative integration products on the market.

 

More about this role:

  • You will be researching new cloud services (what we call Elements) , including application APIs, resources, and models.

  • Gather requirements for the engineering team needed to build new Elements.  

  • Research and recommend solutions for Elements that are complex and need to fit into our current model.

  • Define the mapping between our normalized “Hubs” and the vendor endpoints.  Define, if needed, new Hub normalization.

  • Create stories that constitute the requirements and User Acceptance for new or enhanced Elements.  

  • Assist with documentation content for internal and/or external processes.

  • Determine the impact to an existing Element when a vendor's API has changed, and ensuring we are registered for API alerts for new Elements.

  • Apply for partnerships where needed to obtain API access and support. 

 

What we would like you to have:

  • 3-5 years of Product Analysis, requirements gathering, story writing, and documentation experience

  • Solid technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, as well as Cloud concepts and technologies

  • Technical knowledge of Javascript and JSON

  • Technical acumen from either having roots in or deep involvement in software development

  • Understanding of agile methodologies, frameworks and approaches

  • Understanding of the SaaS market, including cloud services vendors in the CRM, Documents, Help Desk, Payments, Finance, Marketing Automation, and Messaging Markets, providers and advisors would be beneficial.

  • Must have solid experience in a customer facing role, ability to interact with customers in a positive and productive way to pull out the pertinent use cases and requirements

  • Demonstrate a “Customer's First” frame of mind

  • Must be highly energetic, results oriented, team player, with ability to work without daily direction

  • Nice to have: Project management experience
