PPC/Paid Search Specialist
Amplio Digital is searching for a Paid Search Specialist to lead PPC account management within our paid media team. While the Search Specialist will undoubtedly wear many hats, he/she will primarily be responsible for delivering strategic paid advertising campaigns for a variety of direct response advertisers. In this role, you will have frequent interaction with clients and be exposed to a broad range of business situations and functional areas. Your success will be measured by achieving client and company goals.
Detailed Responsibilities
Build rapport and cultivate relationships with clients, while driving a return on advertising investment
Oversee account strategy and service delivery for multiple clients including, but not limited to:
Identifying target audiences by analyzing the client’s Brand, and their customer demographic and psychographic data
Creating targeted keyword lists, writing and testing ad copy, and launching campaigns on search, display, native ads and paid social media networks
Managing landing page optimization and tracking URLs
Creating, refining, and automating performance reports
Exploring creative media alternatives and recommending relevant/creative solutions
Actively managing keyword bids to meet client ROAS objectives
Managing revenue/client and hourly pacing/client across a book of business
Improve media performance tracking and reporting functions with a focus towards automation
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of search advertising experience with an online retail either directly, or with an advertising agency, preferably in a client-facing role
Skilled digital marketer with deep expertise in Google AdWords, Yahoo! Gemini, Bing Ads
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Excel wiz with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools
Polished and persuasive communicator (written and verbal) with experience leading client meetings and calls
Works well in a team and shines as an individual, all while maintaining a sense of humor
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong general business acumen
P&L management experience
Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics) and suite of Google solutions (Tag Manager, My Business, Search Console, etc.)
Familiarity with third-party bid and campaign management tools and ad serving platforms (Doubleclick Search/Campaign Manager, Marin Software, Kenshoo, Nanigans, Atlas Solutions, etc)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to leverage data and metrics to recommend and drive sound business decisions
Focus on continuous improvement and ability to develop and drive processes to that end
Proven ability to work independently with demonstrated time management capabilities
Ability to scale abilities with the growth of the business
DoubleClick, Google Analytics, AdWords, Bing Ads, etc. certifications a plus
Familiarity with pixel tracking setup and QA’ing
