Webroot is seeking a Post Sales Engineer - End Point to join our newly formed Post Sales team. The Post Sales Engineer will lead our efforts to build best practices to enable new customers and future Professional Services offerings. The ideal candidate will have an excellent technical skill set combined with professional customer facing skills. You must be a self-starter with good knowledge of customer environments and end point security and have a solid track record of excellent performance. You will take pride in working with customers face to face and delivering a service to exceed their expectations. You will be able to multitask many items with several different customers and be flexible to change gears quickly to take care of the highest priority. You will also be able to easily adapt to change in the business. A great Post Sales Engineer must be able to see the big picture, understand the business priorities and the technology landscape. You must communicate with professionalism, confidence and honesty with customers and internal teams, and build trust whilst always driving quality and value for the company and provide an overall excellent customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and effectively present and deliver presentations on the end point features and benefits

• Develop the process of deployment and implementation with use case scenarios

•Prepare and provide Ad-hoc reporting and analysis metrics and reporting for product management

•Develop documentation for internal and external product training

•Seek opportunities to propose solutions and improvements as related to product usage

•Competently conduct Q&A sessions; providing accurate and complete information

•Work closely with customers to understand their organizational pain points and effectively link product features and benefits to the customer’s needs to help promote sales

•Continuously review industry trends and client feedback to anticipate future market needs

•Effectively utilize the CRM, pipeline and activity processes to identify, assist and manage, opportunities and customers that require additional support

•Provide customer technical assessment support to the Sales team

Establish and maintain positive work relationships and works productively with support groups within the business, i.e., Marketing, Product Management, etc.

•Generate reports for clients by gathering relevant data from various sources and distributing to pertinent stakeholders

•Project Initiation and Project Planning with the Customer

•Managing the customer requirements, deployment details, and rollout schedule

Handover from on-boarding into Business As Usual

•Excellent ability to manage relationships both remotely and in person

•Ability to set/manage customer expectations and deliver on them

•Ability to understand customer requirements to ensure they are translated into technical delivery

•Manage integrations that require End Point

•Work in partnership with Integration Product Manager

•Provide point of contact for customers and partners for API level support questions

•Provide continuous post live consultation and support to customers to ensure developed technical specifications meet their requirements.

•Help with the administration of developer.webroot.com web site (when it exists)

• Handle 2nd level post-sales questions/issues before being escalated to PM/development

•Other duties may be assigned

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

•Some experience with the following: Enterprise Antivirus, HTTP proxy products, firewalls of all descriptions, TCP/IP and networking in general (e.g. Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, and Squid).

•Ability to communicate effective technical knowledge of HTTP, SSL, DNS, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, port forwards, opening up ports on firewalls

• General understanding of HIPAA, GLBA, SOX and PCI compliance

•Knowledge of web services, xml, json, rest, soap, EDIFACT and X12 data standards in a global organization

•Business Analysis experience including requirements gathering and documentation, functional design creation, and functional unit testing

•Project management experience

•Experience with distributors, system integrators, independent software vendors, and OEMs is a plus

•Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients and external business partners

•Broad understanding of Oracle Financials and IT and deep understanding of the B2B function

•Ability to understand business functionality and translate into application requirements •Ability to collaborate and make connections across many internal departments

•Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, and able to meet deadlines

•Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment

•Ability to multi-task and stay organized

•Excellent written and oral communication/phone skills

•Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills

•Goal driven, highly motivated, with a desire to take the lead

•Working knowledge of EDI and other interfacing / integration industry standards

•Prior technical sales experience preferred but not required

•Strong computer proficiency in MS Project and GoToMeeting strongly desired. Other skills include PowerPoint, Visio and Access

•Working knowledge of SQL, Interface Protocols and Networking.

• Capable of reading and understanding services and functions as outlined in API’s

•Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing with customers and other business partners.

•Perform troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving, exception handling, and re-processing as necessary to ensure reliable operations.

• Assist with maintaining documentation of process and integration flows as well as defect documentation and bug categorization.

•Strong business process and system analysis with the ability to recognize problems and implement solutions.
