The Platform Delivery Engineer is a seasoned expert, responsible for implementation and steady state performance of the InteliSecure Platform.

Working with the Platform Operations and Application Development teams, the Platform Delivery Engineer manages the technical aspects of integrating customer systems with the InteliSecure platform and is primarily responsible for platform implementation, uptime, availability, and problem troubleshooting.  Platform Delivery Engineer will also act as subject matter experts in support of platform development and quality control.

The Platform Delivery Engineer must ensure that all tasks performed adhere to the firm’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).  This includes participation in annual information and network security training and acceptance of spot checks on an ad hoc basis to guarantee that InteliSecure is constantly improving upon the organization’s ISMS.  Each member of our team must understand the importance of the ISMS and the corresponding handling of customer data.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for issues relating to the InteliSecure Platform.
• Point of escalation for Platform related technical issues
• Lead InteliSecure Platform implementations, upgrades, patching and break/fix scenarios
• Manage log collection and transport to support InteliSecure Data Warehouse
• Utilize internal ticketing solution for problem tracking and project development; inspect change requests for accuracy
• Take on-call rotation after hours and on weekends, serving as a point of escalation as necessary     
• Some travel may be required for this position (<25%)

• Ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal oversight
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions to a variety of audiences

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years of experience in Redhat Administration
• Subnetting
• Basic understanding of routing principles
• 2-3 years of experience working with virtualization or administration of virtualized environments
• Experience supporting corporate network infrastructure
• Strong time-management skills 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

PREFERRED:

• Industry certifications such as RHCE, CCNA, Security+, etc.
• Background in information security or network security
• VMware vSphere or KVM Administration
• Windows Administration / Active Directory
• Ability to read and write regular expressions
• Scripting knowledge of Perl, Python, Java, or Bash
