Job Description

The People Operations Associate role is a contract position that will work directly within the People Team. Working in tandem with our People Specialist to manage the HR functions within the company. This role includes, but is not limited to; payroll processing, benefits guidance and administration, on-boarding of new employees, and general HR administration. The hours for this contract position are a target 20-25 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

 Responsibilities

  • Process and run payroll on a semi-monthly basis while also ensuring that all recent pay changes have been submitted and approved, handling any payment issues, and answering any payroll questions
  • Manage all employee data processing and entry including but not limited to; new hires, terminations, and transfers
  • Provide new hire on-boarding, and off-boarding support as needed
  • Support completion and filing of I-9s, W-4s, and all other new hire paperwork requirements
  • Organize the HR Database which includes; regularly auditing employee I-9s, and owning the structure of the HR shared folder
  • Support benefits administration and act as a point of contact both internally and externally; and manage new hire enrollments into the benefits plan using ADP Workforce Now’s benefit solution
  • Maintain and update the carrier feeds from the HRIS to carrier sites as needed
  • Support open enrollment changes and administration
  • Respond to Unemployment Claims

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or 2+ years of related experience in human resources
  • Payroll Processing Experience
  • Working knowledge of ADP Software
  • Major attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Willingness to learn
  • Comfortable in a fast-pace, changing environment
  • Experience using G-Suite, such as Gmail, Drive, Google Docs, and Calendar
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
