The Opportunity

Xero is seeking a Partner Relations Manager who will be responsible for the operations enabling our local influencers to evangelize the future in accounting and bookkeeping services in the USA on behalf of Xero. The person in this role will help the Partner Relations team build long term credibility, trust and engagement with our channel partners. The Partner Relations team is responsible for creating a clear vision and positive guidance for how accounting and bookkeeping services can thrive in an industry that is undergoing substantial disruption, much of which is being driven by Xero's success.


What you'll do

  • Help develop & secure our local relationships with associations for accounting professionals and bookkeepers where Xero Ambassadors are requested to speak.
  • Coordinate outside influencers for Xero events and drive the local events strategy with Marketing.
  • Monitor contracts with associations to ensure Xero is taking full advantage of all benefits agreed upon.
  • Monitor social medial outlets, organize Partner Relations team to post and respond on relevant social media outlets.
  • Project manage the team's content calendar for bylines and speaking engagements in conjunction with marketing, PR & education.

Not only has she grown personally due to this role, but it’s also encouraged her to engage with other engineering teams in an effort to better understand her peers’ needs. She’s currently helping plan an event that will enable Indigenous people to share their unique stories with others in the company.

For instance, he recently took part in a scoping session in order to develop a road map for diverse hiring practices.
