As Partner Development Representative, you'll be talking to accountants and bookkeepers about the benefits of partnering with us and getting their clients on Xero. And you'll have a have a view of the beautiful Rocky Mountains from our Denver office while you do so. Think of this role as the beginning. We're growing really fast, so new opportunities are opening up all the time.
Role Description:
We are seeking an energetic, motivated and articulate team team player to join our rapidly-growing sales team. This role is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new pipeline opportunities for the Xero USA's Partner Channel in order to achieve revenue sales targets for Xero in the USA.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
- Creating new potential business opportunities to grow the sales pipeline
- Following up on inbound marketing leads to identify potential sales opportunities
- Setting up new Partners on Xero and walking them through how to get started
You will need:
- Ability to articulate the Xero value proposition in an industry context
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to create strong rapport with people, quickly
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and follow-up
- Track record of persistence and strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision
- Experience using a CRM or Contact Management System
- Experience in social media
- Be process driven and willing to take ownership
- Familiarity with how an accounting firm operates (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
