Operations & Analytics Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management:

• Project manage key initiatives for on-time, on-budget, and on-impact completion
• Provide operational initiative support to sales, service & product management

Reporting & Analytics:

• Design and deploy key performance indicators within operations and between functions
• Design and maintain operational dashboards
• Perform periodic and ad-hoc data analytics in support of business objectives
• Manage monthly bonus and commission calculation and reporting process
• Lead the compilation of monthly and quarterly senior management and board reporting for operations
• Provide appropriate frameworks for large deal and partnership evaluation

Process Management:

• Drive the process and technology roadmap for the operations teams
• Drive process standardization and best practices for operations
• Develop process documents and work instructions for internal users
• Design and deploy integrated processes for cross functional work activities (e.g., bug reporting)
• Audit operational process compliance (e.g., sales lead response performance)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical capabilities including hypothesis testing and root cause analysis
• Project management capabilities including project planning, status reporting, metrics definition & deployment
• Clear understanding of basic statistics and how to use them to inform business decision making
• Experience mining and manipulating large quantities of data to generate business insight
• Work experience directly in operations roles (sales or service preferred)
• Working knowledge of SaaS company operating models
• Ability to succinctly and respectfully communicate priorities and results
• Sense of urgency appropriate for a start-up environment
• Ability to translate business objectives to work tasks
• Drive to meet deadlines and self-manage for appropriate work-life balance
• Though we are an active group, this job requires sitting, phone and computer use.  Mixed with the occasional Nerf projectile battle.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Advanced degree in statistics or data science
• Experience managing a service or sales team
• Product management experience in a technology company
• Business Intelligence background including SQL database querying skills
