Craftsy is looking for an enthusiastic, process oriented and fun Office Manager to join our fast-paced, creative and growing company! Our Office Manager will ensure that office operations and travel processes run effectively and efficiently to enable our team to focus on their unique responsibilities. This role is highly interactive, collaborative and requires not only an ability to manage details but a passion for the details—coordination, schedules and complexity will fill your days. We’re expanding into new space and will need our Office Manager to take the lead on project management for the build-out with various internal teams and external contacts. Our Office Manager will also work on everything from placing catering orders and planning events to managing equipment/resources to ensuring our space is clean, functional and visitor-ready at any moment. A positive attitude and willingness to say “yes!” to any variety of tasks or requests is essential.

As our Office Manager you will:

  • Identify, socialize and implement processes/procedures/documents for our office operations with efficiency and results in mind
  • Deliver exceptional service to colleagues and external contacts while maintaining a positive attitude, flexible perspective and action-oriented mindset
  • Coordinate and execute diverse facility management activities such as meeting/event planning, ordering supplies, catering and working with vendors so that our teams have the tools, space and nourishment needed to ensure that Craftsy continues to be the culture and environment that we’ve all come to love
  • Determine operational best practices that enhance value, results and experiences in ways we haven’t even thought of!
  • Manage travel activities, budget and processes from end-to-end with Receptionist/Travel Coordinator (that means planning, booking, confirming and problem solving!) for colleagues and a variety of external contacts including but not limited to instructors and recruiting candidates—you must love and excel at planning multiple travel itineraries at the same time
  • Handle other responsibilities and tasks of a similar nature to the above

Your background likely includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

  • Experience and demonstrated success as an office or operations manager in a similar environment
  • Experience scheduling, booking and managing many travel schedules within defined guidelines and budgets but also to ensure the best travel experience possible
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and assess current processes before generating ideas and outlining next steps while engaging others throughout the process (i.e. you know the basics of project management!)
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions in the best interest of the business using data, cost, and other factors
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills within standard office procedures and tools (invoice management, vendor relationships, shipping, Gmail, Google Docs and more!) and with diverse audiences
  • Other degrees, certifications, education and experience that contribute toward your potential in to achieve what’s outlined above
