Stack Overflow is hiring an Office Coordinator to join our Operations team in Denver. We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to assist our Office Manager with the day-to-day management of the Denver office. We have a unique startup environment that allows us to have elaborate office operations including catered lunches every day, special events, and a communal space that requires extra attention. This individual will be integral in ensuring daily operations of our Denver office run smoothly.

This is a part-time position with an average of 25-30 hours per week.

What you'll do:

  • Reception Duties
    • Manage front desk operations during normal business hours
    • Greet visitors & log them in alerting employee of their arrival
    • Answer phones, transfer calls, & act as “gatekeeper” for unsolicited calls
    • Handle inbound and outbound office shipments and mail delivery
  • Office Maintenance Duties
    • Handle daily kitchen/coffee bar-area responsibilities (ensuring it is tidy, loading and unloading of dishes, appliance upkeep, restocking snack cabinets and refrigerators etc.)
    • Order and stock weekly food deliveries
    • Maintain cleanliness and order of communal areas in the office, e.g. restocking bathrooms and shower areas, organizing and straightening game rooms, ensuring conference rooms are ready for meetings etc.
  • Administrative
    • Coordinate with finance team regarding checks/bills received
    • Manage parking passes and transit checks
    • Assemble and send out new hire swag packs
    • Order new business cards
    • Compile new hire training materials
    • Assist with Office Management/New Hire Trainings as needed
  • Event Planning/Coordination
    • Assist office manager with planning and coordinating all office events including Holiday Party, Summer Party, Meet-ups, Quarterly Sales Awards Dinners, Beer Bashes, etc.

What you should have:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Gmail and working with Google Calendars
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech savvy; enthusiasm for Stack Exchange and the tech startup landscape
  • Smart & Gets Things Done mentality
