Job Title: SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER / IT SPECIALIST Department: Operations Reports To: Chief Operating Officer Summary Directs and coordinates development and execution of computerized management information systems by performing the below-specified duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities: -Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions for multiple locations globally. -Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing. -Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for departments within the organization. -Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems standard operating policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance. -Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products. -Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware to company standards. -Take initiative to improve knowledge and expertise by learning new and evolving technologies. -May directly supervise employees in the Information Technology Department. -Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions. Qualifications -Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related IT field -1 – 3 years of relevant work experience and/or training. -Experience with installation and configuring Cisco Equipment (switches, firewalls, etc.). -Experience with administering Cloud Services, including hard drive backup applications, OS applications, file storage, remote desktop, ticketing systems etc. -Strong experience with PC and, especially, MAC networking and environment. -Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and other desktop applications (Adobe, etc.). -In-depth knowledge of Google platform. -Experience and knowledge of IP protocols, firewalls, and related technologies such as backup systems, email systems, virus protection, desktop operating systems, network faxing, contact management, etc. -Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting centralized network infrastructure such as routers, hubs, switches, etc. -Proven customer service -Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, organized, attentive to details, self-motivated. -Excellent communication and writing skills. -Willing to travel to other offices (domestic and/or international) when required.
