Description
NextHealth Technologies is seeking a .NET Technical Team Lead, reporting to the CTO, with application architecture experience to design, develop, test and implement our high quality, scalable and extendable platform. They must have extensive experience leading development of large-scale and distributed software systems. A key responsibility in this role is communicating and coordinating with our Offshore team, requiring some coordination and meetings during off hours as our teams are global and geographically separated.

- Design, develop, test and deploy our Azure based SaaS product offering adhering to functional and product requirements
- Lead and guide the team of globally located senior engineers to develop and deploy the software product in the NHT’s cloud platform
- Build large-scale and distributed software systems
- Design and build end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines, including designing pipelines for infrastructure code and pipeline-integrated metrics and monitoring (observability) practices and infrastructure
- Contribute to customer engagement requirements and agile development practices such as backlog grooming, iteration planning, estimation and prioritization
- Deploy and manage virtualized and containerized workloads in development through production (Docker)
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a code/provisioning tools like Chef, Puppet and Operating system virtualization like Docker/Kubernetes.
Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience
- 3+ years in technical lead level responsibilities
- 5+ years .NET experience
- 1+ Years of working with offshore teams in disparate time zones
- Strong hand-on experience developing application using C# and Web API, ASP.NET
- 2 years’ experience with Angular JS or similar JavaScript frameworks, developing SPA using MVC pattern
- Grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Responsive design, and Web/Mobile application development
- Worked with and have core experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or related NoSQL databases, if not a strong object-relational mapper experience
- Management and administration of application and web servers such a Microsoft (IIS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
- Familiarity with application architecture principles and specific tooling and approaches to support high-availability architectures
- Working knowledge of agile development methodology
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Working knowledge about health care policies and compliances such as HIPAA and HITECH is a plus
