National Sales Representative – Denver, CO

Job Description

Revenue River Marketing is looking for another National Sales Representative.  We’re looking for an ambitious, driven individual with a good grasp of the sales cycle and strong communication skills.   Prospective team member should understand how to manage the complete sales cycle, be self-motivated, driven to succeed, and be highly organized.  This job requires nation-wide air travel to prospect’s location of business to perform sales meetings, you should expect 40-50% travel. 

Job Responsibilities 

This position requires competency across all phases of the sales cycle.  Responsibilities include cold calling, managing touch campaigns, setting meetings, exploratory in-person sales meetings,  proposal creation based on prospect’s needs-analysis, proposal delivery, follow up for execution of contract, and pipeline management. Overnight travel is required, successful prospecting should result in 1 or more meetings per week abroad.  A good grasp of modern and mobile technology is required to execute all responsibilities.  

General Competencies

  • Ability to strategically analyze each campaign and help determine ideal user experience within best practice inbound marketing principles.
  • Execute a marketing strategy driven towards goals and deliverables that support the contract in collaboration with other assigned team members.
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.

Communication Competencies 

  • Manages day-to-day sales activity for complete pipeline and internal resource communication for all support.
  • Effectively communicate opportunities and challenges to management in a timely and detailed fashion.
  • Ability to resolve and/or escalates issues in a pro-active manner.
  • Ability to plan and schedule your time by roles, tasks, and quota requirements.
  • Ability to take complex/conflicting situations and translate them into simplified solutions.

Technical Competencies

  • Experience managing sales opportunities through CRM.
  • Solid competency with MS Outlook & virtual meeting software. 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Ability to manage tablets and mobile presentation devices for sales presentations.

Social Skills

  • Be a great person in general.  We love what we do and love where we work, if you don’t you won’t fit well.
  • Be extremely likeable on the phone and in sales meetings, people do business with people they like.
  • Work really well with your team members, treat others how you'd like to be treated.
  • Work really hard without someone looking over your shoulder, we don’t micro manage and you should be able to produce results with clarity of purpose and the provided toolsets.
  • Be committed to excellence, be extremely detail oriented, and take great pride in results.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to adjust to flexible work hours to support clients nationally, we work from the compass not the clock.

Work Experience

  • We’d like to see at least 2 years of corporate business-to-business sales experience
