Wayin is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our fast-growing team.
This position will assist and collaborate on marketing strategies and tactics that support the growth of Wayin. The Marketing Specialist will assist in planning, development and execution of marketing strategies and plans. You will work collaboratively with Wayin’s marketing, communications & business teams to create and optimize marketing communications programs to build brand awareness, generate positive PR coverage and support inbound marketing programs. The Marketing Specialist will coordinate and manage initiatives across social media marketing, marketing collateral creation, events and public relations to drive marketing goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create content for external and internal communications and events
- Oversee planning, coordination and execution of event marketing
- Maintain digital and social media messaging and engagement programs, as well as coordinate special marketing programs for client engagement
- Edit, write & track performance of blog posts, email and social media content
- Collect, compile, analyze and evaluate data on performance of marketing programs and maintain records and produce reporting as needed
- Provide overall support to the Wayin Marketing Department
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar
- 1-3 years experience
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail and design, and the ability to work under deadlines
- Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
- Ability to project manage, contribute to and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for and experience in marketing communications, particularly events, public relations, client marketing and/or social media
- Previous PR, client marketing and/or digital content marketing experience is a major plus
- Familiarity with marketing technology such as Hubspot, web content management systems and Salesforce CRM is a plus
