Position Details:

As a high-level individual contributor, the Marketing Manager assists in the coordination and execution of the go-to-market strategy within a specific line of CSG’s business.  This role collaborates with the sales team, corporate marketing partners, and vendors to execute on marketing plans.  Our Marketing Manager plays an active role for the line of business sales team ensuring they are benefiting from global marketing programs as well as executing business-centric programs to ensure success across all regions.

Serve as marketing advisor to business unit and key stakeholders and manage the business unit marketing calendar and communications through collaboration with other marketing team partners. 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for sales team questions and requests.
  • Provide suggestions and ideas that enhance processes, sales team experience, and simplicity of operation.              
  • Drive active awareness of the brand, messaging, positioning and marketing programs across the business unit sales teams.
  • Assist the sales team with identifying marketing materials / collateral and develop plans and tools to address business unit market needs.
  • Create and publish all marketing campaigns and associated materials in line with the business unit marketing plans. 
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing campaign and program results; making the necessary improvements as needed to improve ROI. 

Be the product/solution brand ambassador and evangelist, participating in the development of marketing content that is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels including online, social media, email, video, print and in-person.

  • Lead the content development for marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with sales and professional services to create customer case studies.
  • Collaborate with product management to create sales enablement materials, success stories, product videos, website copy, blog posts, etc.

Professional Experience

  •  8+ years of B2B or software experience including proven responsibility for multiple, multi-touch marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to develop content quickly and with little guidance or information; distilling complex concepts into key messages in a fast-paced and fluid environment. 
  • Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, and solid research skills that allow effective maneuvering within a large organization with multiple layers. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships at all levels across the organization. 
  • Solid writing, editing, verbal communications, and project management skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to “roll-up his/hers sleeves” to make things happen.
  • Confident and dynamic personality with ability to work at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to use various tools that assist in campaign management (i.e. Eloqua and SFDC).

Travel

  • Must be able to travel, dependent upon location of the role, up to 20% of the time

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or a related field, or the equivalent work experience.
