Position Description


Due to growth of our research team, GutCheck is seeking a full-time Online Research Strategist (ORS). The ORS takes lead on Qual & Quant projects and often works one-on-one with clients from start to finish. A typical project can last anywhere between a few days and a few weeks, and all are centered on some type of product or ad testing. Many clients are in the CPG industry but we also work in tech, food, retail, healthcare, and B2B. Project mix is approximately 50% Qual / 50% Quant, though we do have specialists in each area who skew one way or another.


 


This position will report into a Research Manager based in Denver, Colorado.


 


Job Responsibilities:



  • Customer satisfaction

    • Maintains a maniacal focus on research quality, speed, and relationship building while executing the day-to-day project details for some of our biggest accounts

    • Is the expert on projects; makes confident recommendations on methodology, scope, and question structure



  • Qualitative project execution (domestic & international)

    • Designs discussion guides based on key business questions and research objectives

    • Programs studies and oversees online sample to ensure we hit all quotas on time and within budget

    • Moderates online studies that are typically 2-3 days in length

    • Works alongside a report analyst to gather key findings and implications; ultimately responsible for delivery of final PPT report



  • Quantitative project execution (domestic & international)

    • Designs questionnaires based on key business questions and research objectives

    • Programs studies and oversees online sample to ensure we hit all quotas on time and within budget

    • Puts together tables in Excel and analyzes results to determine key findings and implications; ultimately responsible for delivery of final PPT report



  • Process improvement

    • Proactively has an impact on research or company-wide processes especially as they relate to automation and standardization; brings a new voice to the table to promote innovation and maintain our edge as a market leader




 


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, social science, or related field

  • 2+ years qualitative and quantitative experience

  • 2+ years experience working one-on-one with vendors

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven while still seeing the big picture

  • Efficient; organized; knows how to get stuff done


 


Desired Qualifications:



  • International research experience or 2nd language spoken

  • Startup experience
