Position Description

GutCheck has an immediate full-time opening for an Online Research Associate (ORA). This is your chance to dive into qualitative and quantitative market research, specifically as it relates to online consumer testing of new ads and products.

This person will be responsible for helping our research team operate as seamlessly as possible, so we’re looking for people who work well in teams and go the extra mile to help others. He or she will have a big impact on our internal processes by working closely with other members of our research team to oversee all phases of project coordination.

ORAs have the opportunity to advance into the role of Online Research Strategist (ORS) based on growth and development within the ORA role.

Job Responsibilities

• The first part of the job is becoming an expert in our online quantitative and qualitative platforms to help program studies and oversee project logistics
• Works with online panel companies to send and monitor respondents to ensure the highest quality data
• Moderates online communities by reading what respondents are saying and asking appropriate follow-up questions
• Analyzes findings and coordinates with report writers to ensure that all themes and implications are captured for customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business and/or social sciences
• 1+ year of coursework and/or professional experience in qualitative and quantitative research, specifically related to programming and fielding online studies
• Able to run tables and sort data in Excel to draw out patterns for key findings and implications
• Able to be personable, creative, and confident with clients
• Interest in research technologies and learning new software; passion for the market research industry and a desire to be a part of a growing team

Desired Qualifications:

• International research experience or 2^nd language spoken
• Experience working with online panels
• Start-up experience
