Market Development Representative
Kapost is the global leader in Content Marketing Software space. You will use a consultative approach to sell social content marketing software to marketing professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Aggressively manage and qualify inbound sales interest for Kaposts Content Marketing Platform, matching prospects to the company ideal customer profile and determining their fit and stage of the sales process.
- Outbound telephone-based prospecting for Kapost Named Accounts and other select marketing campaigns and programs
- Record and document all calls and communications in Kapost’s CRM to identify trends for improvement
- Update and maintain Sales database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives
- Monitor social web for sales opportunities and leads
- Conduct concentrated marketing campaigns and customer outreach
- Report on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative
- Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Exception level of drive and passion for results
- Willingness to learn new skills and build a career in sales and marketing
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Some sales experience is desirable but not necessary
- Some experience working in software or business-to-business environment is desired but not necessary
- MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with use of customer relationship management databases a plus
- Experience or passion for Social Networks and Social Software tools
