We’re looking for a highly analytical, creative, curious, and results-driven digital marketer excited to join our cross-functional acquisition team to drive efficient customer growth at increasing scale.
 
As our Manager of Marketing - Acquisition, you will lead the team, strategy and execution against one of our most important marketing channels, driving efficient acquisition of passionate creative enthusiast customers.
 
Specifically, you will:
  • Perform in-depth analysis into marketing channel and campaign performance to yield key insights and leverage these insights in partnership with your team to optimize performance
  • Work closely with a team of bright, early-career digital marketers to define and execute against a strategy to efficiently drive significant growth in customer acquisition
  • Collaborate with Designers and Copywriters to conceptualize, develop and test creative assets to support marketing campaigns which deliver strong results
  • Work with Engineers and Product Managers to optimize landing pages, conversion funnels and onboarding experiences
  • Prioritize, design and execute campaigns and tests within one or more of our primary retention marketing channels to efficiently maximize performance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Your background and experience may include, but is not necessarily limited to:
  • 3+ years of direct management and successful optimization of multiple digital marketing channels (email, social, paid search, display, SEO, etc..) at significant scale (not via an agency); preference given to candidates with Facebook experience
  • 1+ years experience as an inspirational leader of high performing teams - with references indicating that members of your team are eager to work for you again in your new role
  • Top-tier education focused on an analytical discipline (ex. engineering, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, business)
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills demonstrated through strong professional experience in a data-driven environment (ex. consulting, banking, analyst program) - in-depth professional Excel experience required and SQL a plus
  • Experience prioritizing, managing and reliably delivering against multiple projects with tight timelines and high expectations
  • Experienced with digital performance management toolsets including social listening platforms and analytics packages – Google Analytics/Omniture/WebTrends/etc.
