At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Manager, Business Development.
Summary:
The Manager, Business Development is responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between the organization and customers cultivating relationships with key individuals at target companies. This role assists with the development and execution of strategy and business development. This position will be responsible for managing and developing the global sales team and implement business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Build influential relationships with strategic customers. Serve as liaison between the customer, local Arrow management, providing opportunity identification, tracking and closure.
- Develop and execute strategy and business development for the territory/region/market.
- Manages the sales as assigned, to implement strategic plans and business development initiatives.
- Research and analysis of business opportunities and regional strategic plans. Execute comprehensive marketing and sales plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of the organization.
- Collect and leverage competitive landscape. In-depth knowledge and understanding of their customer base and supplier intelligence. Utilize information for their respective markets.
- Collect and leverage competitive products and marketing activities. Make recommendations for strategic inventory.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years strategic sales experience or business development experience.
- 5-10 years Management Experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional influencing and relationship building skills to gain results.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in MS office software programs.
- Ability to influence indirectly and drive results without day to day management involvement (self-starter, highly motivated to win).
- Ability to connect the dots between top-level strategy and ground-level tactics.
- Ability to self-motivate.
- Ability to work in situations of ambiguity.
