Responsibilities:
Following the complete end-to-end testing lifecycle including testing the product’s existing and new features, automating the test cases, reporting bugs, etc.
Required Skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in a Test/ QA role
- Experience leading a QA team
- Programming experience in language—Java preferred
- Experience in testing J2EE based application
- Hands on experience in GUI automation—Selenium highly preferred
- Experience in API automation—Junit preferred
- Strong SQL query knowledge— Oracle is preferred
- Exposure to builds and deployments tools—Jenkins preferred
- Experience in testing in end-to-end scenarios of the enterprise business applications
- Ability to develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently
- Ability to single handily drive the QA activities for any given project
- Experience with Scrum methodology requiring automated tests as definition of done
- Experience in non-functional testing like performance, scalability, etc.
Preferred Skills (optional):
- Exposure in testing Hadoop stack
- Exposure on ETL/analytics modules
- Experience in product based companies
