About the role. We have two immediate opportunities for paid Lead Generation Specialist internships in our Boulder office. Lead Generation Specialists are responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales team and sharing the Connect First story with future clients. Successful Lead Generation Specialists are highly-motivated self-starters, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources - including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. Comfortable on the phone making calls to folks you have not yet met, a Lead Generation Specialist is tenacious and driven with a strong sense of perseverance and humor to boot!

This is a part-time position with the potential of full-time employment upon proven success in this role.  We promote heavily from within and are open to our Lead Generation Specialists growing into other roles in the business. We succeed by helping you define your skills and interests and encouraging you to grow into bigger opportunities and responsibilities.

Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Savvy and masterful phone presence resulting in successful call requirements (10 calls per hour / 40-50 per shift) and generating high quality lead quotas. (Essentially, you know how to engage leads, escalate to the right party, and obtain commitments without breaking a sweat.)

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the Connect First solution and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.

  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.

  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.

  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

  • Work with the Marketing and Sales Team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.

  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with technical and high level business decision makers and demonstrate the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm call after call.

  • Keen, enthusiastic, team player with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic as well possessing excellent time management skills and be able to switch between tasks quickly and efficiently.

  • Accurate data entry of telemarketing responses and scheduling of follow-up calls, as well as regular reporting of results and providing feedback to the Sales & Marketing team.

Additional skills or background we would be thrilled if you had any experience with or interest in.

  • Experience with SaaS model and applications.

  • Call Center industry experience.

  • Salesforce Experience.

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry (Call center, IVR, PBX, CTI, ACD) is an advantage.

  • Pretty much have to love technology and people. And dogs.

Other Requirements.

  • Must be dependable.

  • Must have a high level of motivation.

  • Be a self-starter.

Education.

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
