About You:
Strong sense of hospitality, ability to engage with customer interaction to create a positive energy and second home to guests. You enjoy working on a close nit team are a problem solver with the capability to exceed guests expectations. You have a strong understanding of coffee and equipment as well as day-to-day café operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Represent Galvanize and Gather in a professional and hospitable manner, to help maintain a positive company moral
- Maintain a high level of motivation amongst a team of 3+employees
- Effectively communicate between café employees, community coordinators, event coordinators, and Director of Hospitality Colorado
- Support café staff with inventory ordering for FoCo, creating a relationship with sales representatives and vendors
- Maintain a properly curated grab and go section based on Galvanize and Gather structure
- Run errands such as bank deposits
- Using the base schedule provide an employee schedule for the baristas
- Actively engage in routine meeting with the Director of Hospitality Colorado about daily and weekly sales
- As well as maintain open communication about guest satisfaction and concerns
- Over see the cleanliness of each campus’s café seating area, FoH
- Submit accounts payable to Director of Hospitality Colorado on a weekly basis
- Follow budget and pars, pushing to meet the goals set by upper management
ABOUT YOU:
- 1-year coffee shop manager or lead barista preferred
- Exceptional and persuasive hospitality skills
- Must have a positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow
- Regularly required to lift and / or move items up to 25 pounds
- Be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
