ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with cross-functional product development teams to deliver responsive web and mobile applications with world-class user experiences
• Collaborate with other members of the design team on design ideas and actively critique and iterate to discover the best design solutions
• Create both low and high-fidelity prototypes to facilitate usability testing
• Assist in the design and conduct usability tests to explore and validate design alternatives
• Effectively communicate and discuss design alternatives and research results with stakeholders
• Work closely with Product Managers and Development to ensure that design specifications can be implemented, to track changes, and to make design adjustments when necessary
• Provide both low-resolution wireframes and high-fidelity mockups depending upon project needs

SKILLS REQUIRED
• Demonstrable knowledge in the fields of User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, user/design research techniques, usability testing, the user-centered design process, and experience creating appropriate design deliverables.
• A portfolio that illustrates the projects you’ve worked on and details your contributions.
• Some knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, as well as an understanding of their capabilities and limitations.

SKILLS DESIRED
• HCI, UX, interaction design, or related field
• Experience creating sketches, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Sketch, Balsamiq, Justinmind, Axure, HTML/CSS/Javascript, or similar tools and technologies.
• Experience documenting flow using tools like OmniGraffle and Visio.
• Understanding of user research and usability testing techniques
• A passion for solving problems and making complex systems of interaction fluid and easy to use
• Strong curiosity and drive to understand how things work, envision how they might work better, and translate that vision into a compelling user experience
