Job Description:

OpenTable is looking for a Help Desk superhero to join our Denver IT team. To do our jobs we call upon the wisdom of Schneier, communicate via Hangouts, manage projects with Atlassian, serve our users through Zendesk, troubleshoot Active Directory, and we do it on Macs (also PCs and Linux). If you can support people with a smile, replace tedious tasks with scripts, and are constantly looking for a better way (preferably one that includes robots and blinking lights), please join us in the Mile High City. Candidates should be prepared to passionately debate the benefits of mechanical vs organic webshooters.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Tier 1 Help Desk escalations through tickets, phone, chat, and walk-ups
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Create accounts and configure hardware as part of onboarding process
  • Support audio and video conferencing equipment
  • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Mac operating systems, peripherals, hardware, and software
  • Experience with Exchange, Office 365, and Google Apps
  • Experience supporting Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience writing, testing, and deploying Windows GPO
  • A passion for and evidence of automation via PowerShell, bash, Python, or other relevant language or tool
  • Disk imaging with MDT and DeployStudio
  • Experience supporting Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
  • Familiarity with audio/visual setup for meetings and conference rooms (i.e. Chromebox for Meetings)
  • Advanced networking and routing troubleshooting skills (i.e. wireless)
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • Ability to find problems, root causes, and drive projects to fix them
