What You'll Do
  • You’ll be the primary IT support professional at GoSpotCheck. Whether we’re getting a new employee setup with a device, or making sure our video conferencing technology is set up for a board meeting, you’ll be the one we turn to to make sure everything goes smoothly. You’ll be the first dedicated employee to this role, and you’ll have the opportunity to put your thumbprint on the role and company, particularly as we move into a brand new building in late July!

  • We’ll feel good about bringing technical issues to your attention because of your receptiveness, quick communication and expertise in our specific tech stack.
  • We’ll rest-assured knowing that company devices have been deployed, stored and logged appropriately thanks to the controls and processes you put in place.
  • When things break - and they will - you’ll be the first one to troubleshoot, diagnose and communicate status updates to the users.
  • We’ll fully admit that you’ve spoiled us, knowing that no matter where we sit in the new office there will be strong and reliable wifi!
  • We’ll continue to introduce cool new technologies that make our daily lives easier, but don’t necessarily break the budget!
Who You Are
  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a support role.
  • You’re an iOS/macOS power user!! - Even if you have to look up some of the scripts, you don’t hesitate to get into the terminal.
  • You’re always up for the troubleshooting network issues, and have a solid understanding of where to start those efforts.
  • You’re a technologist at heart - You nerd out on new technology and have an insatiable appetite for keeping up with the newest trends.
  • You may not have implemented it, but you’ve definitely utilized a ticketing system to manage technical support requests in a previous role.
  • You’re confident in your ability to setup and support video conference technologies: VoIP, web cams, microphones, displays, etc.
  • You have experience managing the procurement process - Purchasing, renewing, budgeting, calculating ROI, negotiating contracts.
  • You are trustworthy, and have a record of treating company equipment like it’s your own!
  • You’re great at documenting and inventorying systems and hardware in a way that others can easily follow.
  • You are able to effectively plan and prioritize projects.
  • You enjoy supporting both technical and non-technical users, and are able to tailor your communication to the audience.
  • You have completed an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • You appreciate and align with our company values.

While we encourage our team to work how they want and where they want, we just opened a brand new office in the heart of downtown. It is open to anyone who wants a collaborative office environment, a place for team meet-ups and lunches, or just a day off of Zoom!
