IT Enterprise Applications Manager
The IT Enterprise Applications Manager will provide leadership and direction in the design, implementation and support of business application systems throughout the organization. This leader will support application systems for all users, help guide the department’s activities and resources, manage a budget and manage vendor relationships. The IT Enterprise Applications Manager will identify industry trends, lead multiple projects and oversee developers to ensure that specifications are met.
The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to lead with a focus on teamwork and persistence, while possessing high analytical skills through troubleshooting and maintenance of complex technical environments.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to best support company initiatives
- Approve, schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to applications
- Identify and evaluate industry trends to serve as a source of information and advice for future projects
- Assign technical resources to conduct analysis of user requests to determine scope, time estimates and system impact
- Plan, design and coordinate IT-related projects, as well as provide direction and support for daily operational activities of the team
- Work with stakeholders to define IT requirements and help identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support efficient and effective IT solutions and services
- Prioritize and execute tasks, assign and schedule workloads, and monitor quantity and quality of work
- Evaluate current state processes and identify gaps to future state process around utilization of applications to maximize departmental and organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate with other IT Teams to ensure consistency and standardization within the IT Department
- Perform tactical duties as needed to meet required IT service levels
- Willingness to work in a hands-on environment with excellent interpersonal skills is required.
Here is what we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field required.
- Minimum five (5) years of information technology experience required
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a supervisor/manager required
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience managing enterprise application solutions
- Technical knowledge of integrating disparate applications
- Experience managing IT Applications functions - software development, implementation and support/maintenance services; scope management, timeline, budget, SDLC (Agile, etc.)
- Good writing and documentation skills
