Role Purpose 

The Inventory Planning Associate is accountable for developing and implementing inventory distribution strategies to support sales and inventory objectives and ensure financial goals are met. 

Responsibilities 

• Analyze sales trends and promotional activity to ensure in-stocks on core items and advertised merchandise. 
• Analyze sku and collection productivity to achieve turn and WOS goals and minimize unproductive inventories. 
• Hindsight historical performance and current trends to identify risks and opportunities for the business. Support departmental reporting needs. 
• Partner with Planning Manager to balance workloads and priorities and support ad hoc needs; solicit decision support when needed.

Basic Qualifications 

• 1+ year as an Inventory Analyst at another retailer preferred – Omnichannel experience is a plus!. Minimum 2 years working in retail or related environment. 
• Strong analytical skills, including expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a strong aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.  
• High degree of accuracy, organizational and communication skills, detailed oriented and strong team player. 
• Demonstrated leadership and achievement among talented peers.
