Role Description:
The Community Education Specialist is primarily responsible for designing and writing engaging and relevant content to be used in educational and training institutions, all day workshops, and seminars. . The role will include conducting research and interviews with various internal and external partners, vendors, and subject matter experts to ensure the highest quality, accuracy, and relevance of educational content.
Overview of Key Responsibilities:
- Write and implement curriculum for educational institutions and for a range of industry bodies (accounting and professional). Work in a variety of delivery options including: workshops, seminars and e-learning.
- Create lesson plans for each deliverable created with clear outcomes and desired results to measure against.
- Write learning objectives and training content; including knowledge checks and scripts
- Work closely with sales and marketing, as well as third party speakers and writers, to ensure that Xero's business goals are achieved.
- Work closely with internal and external subject matter experts to design and develop, courses that support overall business goals and objectives
- Actively engage with Xero Education Specialists and Managers in other geographies to ensure continual improvement, sharing of content, and application of best practices.
- Localize courses created in other regions
- Assist with assessment of training needs of various types of partners.
- Seek customer feedback and research to create content and storylines for new courses
- Maintain quality and brand alignment of training content created within Xero guidelines
- Review feedback from surveys and other sources to continuously improve the curriculum
- Update and maintain course materials to support new product releases
