Inside Sales Representative (Temp or Temp to F/T Hire)

MakeMusic is seeking Inside Sales Reps in our Boulder, Colorado office. The Inside Sales Team is primarily responsible for contacting and communicating with Music Educators for the renewal and/or conversion of SmartMusic subscriptions for their music programs, delivering exceptional customer experience by utilizing MakeMusic's line of products to help create successful educators, students and musicians. These temporary Inside Sales Representative positions (3 openings) will provide responses to requests from existing customers regarding product selection, implementation, and fulfilling orders as well as providing proactive telephone outreach. This is an hourly paid, non commission position ($12/hour) working 40 hours per week for the months of August through October.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Outreach to existing customers, Music Educators and Administrators via telephone and email
Receive, respond and manage inbound sales communications from our customers
Understand how our customers utilize our products in order to offer additional guidance for more effective and complete implementation of our software
Fulfill and process orders for SmartMusic, Finale and Garritan product lines
Work cross functionally to support sales and customer needs
Required Qualifications:
Superior communication, sales, customer service, and problem solving skills
Strong ability to multitask under minimal supervision
Proficiency with PC or Macintosh platforms
Desired Qualifications:
Background in Music or Music Education
4 year degree
Experience using SmartMusic
Passion for music and demonstrated use of additional music software/Digital Audio Workstations, etc.
