We are seeking a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that will be responsible for following up and processing leads, driving the growth of the ProtectWise sales pipeline, and helping to ensure our success in the marketplace. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.  You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, providing demos, qualifying prospects, and moving deals through the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting calls and emails
  • Maintain high activity with the intent to qualify customers, provide demos, and create pipeline growth for Field Sales
  • Record and document all calls and communications in ProtectWise’s Customer Relations Management tool (Salesforce.com) to identify trends for improvement and track activity
  • Update and maintain Sales database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives
  • Outbound telephone-based prospecting activities to support sales pipeline growth
  • Research accounts, identify decision makers, develop pipeline of qualified customers for platform trials
  • Support Field Sales in managing opportunities and supporting prospects
  • Report on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven inside sales experience with an emphasis on technology, SaaS, or software sales
  • Experience with use of customer relationship management databases, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Some experience working in software or business-to-business environment is desired but not necessary
  • MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
