We are looking for a seasoned Information Technology Manager to be based in our Denver, CO headquarters.  This full-time position will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at the location. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.  This individual will report to the CEO and will work closely with all sides of the organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Outline the organization’s technology architecture for the next 3-5 years
  • Derive the maximum benefit from NetSuite implementation and leverage functionality across the organization
  • Identify software platforms that could work across the organization (or highly connected ‘best of breed’ point solutions)
  • Direct and manage the implementation of future software platforms
  • Direct and manage the technology ecosystem including connectivity, data security (including international standards), and hardware
  • Support Office 365 and G Suite applications, including performing liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support implementation of strategies in partnership with the leadership team
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs and partner with functional leader to identify and implement solutions
  • Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost efficient contracts
  • Build, lead, and grow a team of motivated and engaged technology professionals by providing guidance and coaching

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

 

·       7+ years of experience including managerial and hands-on responsibilities

·       A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

·       3+ years of experience in global or cross-border technology needs/challenges

·       Demonstrated experience managing internal as well as outsourced or offshore technology resources

·       Self-directed, independent, strategic learner who also appreciates collaboration

·       Strategic thinking skills and a positive, can-do attitude are central to the role

·       Strong project management, time management, and organizational capabilities with the ability to manage numerous competing priorities are required

·       Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; willingness to pitch in to help the team
