Job Summary:
NetApp offers exciting careers in Inside Sales which range from owning a discrete territory to owning a portion of business in a shared OCI Commercial territory. In this role, driving new business opportunities as well as expanding our wallet share within existing customers will pave the way for success.
- Prospect, identify, qualify, develop & manage sales pipeline in a defined territory/market both new (white space) prospects and existing customer base
- Forecast new business opportunities and activities in CRM system
- Update sales stage and prospect interaction in CRM system
- Complete deal disposition information
- Produce accurate monthly forecasts
- Meet or exceed revenue goals and/or usage goals
- Perform prospect demonstrations, as needed with SE
- Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
- Resolve customer issues & problems; alert others as needed on red flags, cancellations.
- Up & cross sell opportunities, probe for additional contacts/projects/opportunities, close uncovered opportunity
- Involve other sales team members as needed to increase business
- Meet or exceed quota and revenue targets
- Visiting customers, as needed
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly automated environment
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience successfully selling into technical user base & senior management (Director and above)
- Experience working within a quota and commission structure
- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, vmail, MS Office Suite)
- Outstanding relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
- High-tech software salesa background
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
