The Cheat Sheet, a Quantcast Top 125 website, is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team! Busy news consumers in our increasingly mobile world come to The Cheat Sheet for its succinct, value-added analyses, and you could be responsible for the brand image of our company. This role will help define the graphic identity of the company through excellence in visual design and thoughtful organization of our graphic assets.

 

As our Graphic Designer you will:

  • Elevate the Cheat Sheet brand image through digital design of high-quality visuals:

    • Web/mobile interfaces

    • Logos for sub-brands and new ventures

    • Marketing collateral.

  • Create and manage assets for use across all company initiatives.

  • Provide consistent user experience across all digital channels.

  • Develop style guides for use throughout the company.

  • Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and demanding environment.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Profound creativity.

  • Mastery of graphic design principles; ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.

  • Experience designing outstanding web-based and/or mobile products for a consumer-oriented website.

  • Experience collaborating with web developers and project managers to create excellent user interfaces.

  • Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Fireworks and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS.

  • Intuitive understanding of User Experience.

  • Strong attention to detail.
