Blinker is a Denver-based mobile app that puts people in control of car ownership. We started our company because we believe the used car market has a major consumer problem – each year, twenty eight million people in the US buy or sell a car at the dealership and lose thousands of dollars in every transaction. Blinker is the only company that allows anyone to sell a car with a lien, buy a car with financing or refinance a car, all on their own with their mobile device.

Our CEO, Rod Buscher, founded Blinker in 2013.  Today, Blinker's leadership team carries 170 years of collective automotive and lending experience. Blinker has received over 100,000 downloads and originated millions of dollars in auto loans. What's expected of you?

• You will work in a cross-functional team inclusive of UX, QA engineers, back end engineers, mobile engineers, product and design to solve complicated technical problems.
• You will create and maintain scalable and efficient web applications, support increased traffic, and drive our business forward
• Your work will focus on web, but you should be passionate about expanding features to create true multi-device experiences that move with the customer from one device to another
• You are a business-minded developer who understands the implications of what they build and the changes they make
• You do not expect to just work through a pile of requirements
• You are an experienced developer who comes with new ideas and who challenges us to think about things from a different perspective
• You are at ease using the latest versions of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You are a passionate developer with problem solving skills, an impressive ability to collaborate with other teams, and a relentless determination to do what is right for our users and our customers.

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years experience in a developer role.
• Proven experience implementing at least one of today’s most common JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Redux, Angular, etc.
• Ability to write JavaScript, HTML & CSS from scratch.
• Experience with Atomic design and BEM.
• Experience with ES2015 or TypeScript.
• Experience writing JavaScript tests(unit and functional)
• Demonstrated experience wiring JavaScript/HTML/CSS/REST stubs into full-blown RIAs.
• You desire a fast-paced/startup work environment.
• You prefer, and have experience with, working in tight-nit teams where you collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and Back End Engineers
• You are thorough and diligent about writing excellent code and being responsible for your own bugs (no throwing over the fence here)
